Driving Licence Slot Booking Process: A Step-by-Step Guide

This guide tells you how to book your driving test step by step. It makes using the booking system easy, so you can get your test date sorted out fast and smoothly.

How to Book a Driving Licence Test Slot?

If you want to book an appointment or slot for your driving licence test, Please go through the following steps-

• First, you need to visit the Parivahan Seva Portal - https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/
• On the main page, click on "Online Service" through this link, and some more options will be open, Now Click on "Driving License Related Services".

• Now, a new window will be open, here you have to select your state name.
• Again, a new page will be open and so many options will be visible on your screen, Applicant must click "Appointment".

• Now a new page will open, and you must click "Slot Booking," some more options will open beneath the link. To book a Permanent Driving licence slot, click "DL Test Slot Booking".

• Now you will be given two options, through which you can book a slot.
• Select Application Number and Fill up your application number and date of Birth, and then fill up the CAPTCHA Code in the Verification Code box and click the SUBMIT button.

• Now all the information regarding your DL will be open and below this page, you will have to select the vehicle you want to book a slot for and then click on the "Proceed to Book" Button.

• A calendar will be shown on your screen, and dates written in green numbers are available for appointment.
• Select a date according to you and then all the slots will be open for the day, you need to select the timing accordingly and click "Book Slot."
• Now you will get an OTP on your linked mobile number to DL.
• Fill out the security code and Click on the SUBMIT button.

• Again, click on "CONFIRM TO SLOT BOOK".
• Now your slot will be booked for the driving test, Information regarding your slot booking will be shown on your screen.
• Now read the Instructions below and click on the "PRINT" button to print this form; you can save it as a PDF too.
• You must take this print as proof when you go for a driving test.

While going to the RTO Office, you must bring your APPLICATION FORM, FEE Receipt, and Appointment Letter.
